Back in December, I blogged and did a video about my vow to stay away from toxin-laden hair dyes. Well recently, I felt like I needed to change up my hair. I was just getting bored of my plain, side-parted hair. Although hair dying was very tempting, I'm proud to say that I resisted that urge. Instead, I opted for a haircut. :) As you can see from the picture above, I got bangs. (Note: please excuse the almost makeup-less face, as I only wear mascara and blush on Sundays, lol.) I feel like I look more Asian now, because an Asian with bangs is so stereotypical, ha ha. I've had bangs several times growing up, but I could never kept them for long, because my hair always grew so fast and I would get too lazy to trim them. This time around, I'm going to try to maintain them, because I love them. Also, I got my hair re-layered and trimmed a bit. No worries though, because my hair is still long (my hair guy kept most of my length). Plus, my head feels so much lighter now.
Here's a video I recorded yesterday about my haircut after my visit to the salon. So happy that my hair guy could fit me in his schedule on such a short, impulsive notice.
Anyways, hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and I will try to update my blog a few times this week. :)
xoxo,
Adeline
